Our Philosophy
Northeast Professional subscribes to the concept of "health" as defined by the World Health Organization (the "WHO"). The WHO defines health as:
[A] state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely [the] absence of disease or infirmity. The enjoyment of the highest attainable standards of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, and political belief, economic or social condition.
To this end, Northeast Professional is committed to providing high quality health care services that are essential to the improvement of a patient's physical and mental condition. We believe, in many instances, that a patient's home is the best setting in which this care can be most effectively provided. Moreover,
Northeast Professional respects the autonomy and privacy of our patients as well as, when appropriate, their family's involvement in making decisions and choices affecting their present and future health conditions.
Northeast Professional continually strives to seek new ways and means to effectively respond to the changing heath care needs of the communities we serve. To that end, we believe that it is essential to continually evaluate our services and personnel through self-assessment, applied research and patient input.
